Note: The fee listed above is stated inclusive of VAT.

What's Included in Your Registration

The delegate fee covers full participation in the Bárány Society Meeting 2026, including:

Programming

• Teaching Day (Thursday, October 15, 2026)
• Bárány Society Meeting 2026 (Friday–Sunday, October 16–18)
• Plenary sessions, oral presentations, and symposium
• Access to the Industry Sponsor’s Exhibition
• Complimentary conference materials and program handbook

Meals & Networking

• The program includes daily coffee breaks and lunches, welcome reception on October 15 evening, gala dinner on October 16 evening.
• Designated networking and social events
• Shuttle bus service between the airport and the main venue hotel.

What's NOT Included

The following items require separate registration or payment:

• Satellite Symposium (October 18, 2026): must be registered in advance
• Accommodation (see Accommodation page)
• All transportation costs except for the airport shuttle bus

Cancellations & Refunds

Note: This also applies for registrations made after September 1, 2026. The Organizing Committee of the Bárány Society Congress retains the final right of interpretation.

Special Circumstances:

• Visa Denial: If your visa application is denied, request refund in writing with proof; we will refund the registration fee minus any paper processing costs.
• Conference Cancellation (Force Majeure): In the unlikely event the Bárány Society Meeting is cancelled due to natural disaster or major public health emergency, full refunds will be issued.

Transfers & Substitutions

• Transfer to Colleague: You may transfer your registration to another person for a CNY 200 transfer fee. Submit the transfer request in writing to wendy.liu@ifmdgroup.com with the colleague's details.
• Registration Changes: Changes to participant name, institution, or email address can be made online or by contacting the Secretariat no later than September 15, 2026. Changes after this date must be made onsite and may incur additional fees.

Processing Time

All refund applications will be reviewed within 14 working days of receipt. Approved refunds will be processed after the conference concludes using the original payment method.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Do I need to register before presenting a poster?
A: Yes. According to conference policy, at least one author of each accepted abstract must register for the meeting to present the work.

Q: Can I register on-site in Shanghai?
A: Limited on-site registration is available for late registrants, but early registration online is strongly encouraged. On-site registration may incur additional fees and longer wait times.

Q: What happens if my plans change?
A: You may transfer your registration to a colleague (CNY 200 fee) or request a refund by September 1 (minus CNY 300 processing fee). See Cancellation Policy above
